Turing Award Winner Patterson: AGI Has Already Arrived

Computer architecture pioneer and Turing Award winner David Patterson stated that while he previously predicted AGI and ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) would arrive by the end of this year, he now leans towards believing "it is already here." He noted that AI has far surpassed human capabilities in many fields, demonstrating complete generality in autonomous driving, humanoid robots, and voice Agents. Driven by AGI and ASI, progress is accelerating. He declared that this is general intelligence, superintelligence, and the singularity—and it has already arrived.
