DeepSeek implemented peak-hour surcharges for its V4 API, doubling prices between 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 Beijing Time to ensure service stability and better allocate scarce resources. This follows a permanent 75% price cut for V4-Pro over the past few weeks. V4 Pro output pricing has now increased from 6 RMB to 12 RMB (approx. $1.77) per million tokens.
