Claude Code 2.1.200 Fixes Multiple Background Session Bugs
ClaudeCodeLog · x · 2026-07-04
The Claude Code CLI 2.1.200 update fixes several issues: it resolves a startup crash when enabledMcpServers/disabledMcpServers in .claude.json are set to non-array values, and addresses problems where background sessions silently stopped mid-turn after sleep/wake, or got stuck when reopening a frozen session.
It also fixes issues where turns canceled by Esc were repeatedly executed after a laggy reconnect, and where crashes left a stale daemon.lock (with a PID reused by the OS) preventing background agents from starting. Furthermore, the background agent daemon handover logic was improved to prevent reinstalled older versions from taking over the daemon.
