ClaudeCodeLog · x · 2026-07-04
Claude Code 2.1.200 has been released, introducing 17 CLI changes. Key updates include unifying the permission mode to "Manual" across CLI, VS Code, JetBrains, and the --help menu, meaning commands now require manual approval.
Additionally, AskUserQuestion no longer auto-continues by default; users can set idle-timeout via /config to prevent accidental progression. Grep documentation now specifies the use of ripgrep for searches to enhance speed and consistency, routing search tasks directly to Grep.
