SARL Method: Robots Align Before Grasping

Sergey Levine's team proposes the SARL method, which uses a policy to guide the robot to move its gripper directly above the target object (e.g., a hammer) before executing the downward motion. This makes "what to grab" obvious and significantly improves the grasping success rate, demonstrating the effectiveness of introducing explicit alignment/guidance signals in robotic manipulation.
