SenseTime released the open-source infographic generation model SenseNova-U1-8B-MoT-Infographic. The author notes it is one of the few open-source models capable of simultaneously tackling three major challenges in text-dense scenarios.
Highlights include clear and legible small text, accurate charts/tables, and clean overall hierarchical structure. It can even stably render dense academic-style layouts, showing a significant improvement in rendering quality over previous open-source infographic models. Trial access is now open.
