Akamai Acquires LayerX for $205M

Akamai has completed the acquisition of LayerX Security for approximately $205 million, integrating enterprise browser security and AI usage controls into its Zero Trust platform.
The move aims to help enterprises strengthen access and data governance and protection when managing both human users and AI agents.
