Claude Code Makes Video: AI Agent Autonomously Hires an Assistant
nptacek · x · 2026-07-03
Developer @gavinpurcell used Claude Code alongside the Fable 5 model to let an AI Agent fully autonomously produce a video (Episode 2). Interestingly, during the task, the Agent "fig" decided on its own to create an assistant role for itself, showcasing the autonomous behavior of AI Agents in breaking down and delegating complex tasks. This case highlights the practical capabilities of AI coding Agents in creative content production, while also going viral due to the quirky behavior of the Agent "hiring its own assistant."
