GitHub Copilot Launches First Open-Weight Model: Kimi K2.7 Code

GitHub Copilot has released its first open-weight model, Kimi K2.7 Code. GitHub stated that this launch is the result of user feedback and pledged to continue listening to suggestions to improve the GitHub experience. Developed by the Chinese company Moonshot AI, Kimi is now available as Copilot's open-source coding model.
