Harvard's XM4D Achieves 4D Reconstruction from Monocular Video via Certifiable Geometric Optimization

Harvard researchers, in collaboration with UC Berkeley, present XM4D, which performs 4D reconstruction from monocular video using 2D trajectories and certifiable geometric optimization. Its conference version XM won the RSS 2025 Best Systems Paper Award.
