KAUST's BroxGD Paper Clarifies Frank-Wolfe as Projection-Free Approximation
KAUST professor Peter Richtárik and student Zhirayr Tovmasyan released the BroxGD optimization paper. Using two slides, Richtárik clarified that the classic Frank-Wolfe method is a projection-free approximation of BroxGD, handling the intersection of constraint sets and balls via FW-style steps.
