Musk says xAI's Colossus 2 will reach about 1.2 million Blackwell GPUs by year-end

Elon Musk confirmed on X that xAI's Colossus 2 supercomputer site will deploy about 1.2 million Blackwell GPUs by the end of this year, more than five times the scale of the first-generation Colossus (230,000 GPUs), marking an aggressive expansion in the AI compute race.
