DecisionRAG Replaces Retrievers with Decision Models

Cornell researchers and the ASAP team propose DecisionRAG, which replaces traditional retrievers with a pretrained decision model that traverses the corpus hierarchy in a single forward pass. The approach outperforms an 8B reranker by 13.8 points.
