UK Launches AI Biosecurity Lab Backed by OpenAI, Anthropic and DeepMind

The UK has launched an AI Biosecurity Lab (AIBL) with support from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google DeepMind, which will provide up to £200 million worth of AI model credits to help defend against biological weapons and pandemic threats.
