SpatialScout Benchmark Tests VLM Agents' Active 3D Exploration

Peking University and Tianjin University researchers released SpatialScout, a benchmark with 80 indoor scenes that tests whether VLM agents can actively explore and build object-level 3D scene maps rather than answer static image questions.
