Cohere claims its Embed 5 Fast beats Google's EmbeddingGemma 2 on over 95% of 163 datasets using RCP-nDCG@10. After being challenged over the metric, Cohere admitted it was a self-developed methodology but said it still leads under the standard nDCG@10 metric.
