Underdog open-sourced Saluki 27B, a 2-bit quantized version of Qwen3.8-27B that shrinks the model to about 1/7 of its size, runs on 8GB of VRAM, retains 96% of benchmark performance, and still supports tool calling. It has trended on Hugging Face.
