NVIDIA's PivotOPD teaches agents to recover from pivotal errors

NVIDIA researchers introduced PivotOPD, an on-policy distillation framework for multi-turn agents that focuses recovery on pivotal errors. Experiments on Qwen3 models (8B–235B) show it outperforms 13 baselines.
