Squeeze3D Achieves Up to 2187x Compression for 3D Data via Latent Space Bridging
Researchers from the University of Toronto and Vector Institute published Squeeze3D at TMLR 2026, which bridges latent spaces to compress 3D data without any reconstruction loss. It achieves up to 2,187x compression, reducing meshes from 6.43 MB to 3.01 KB.
