IIT Madras Develops Indigenous AI Model for Pregnancy Dating

IIT Madras has developed Garbhini-GA2, an AI model trained on Indian pregnancy data to more accurately estimate fetal gestational age. Led by professor Balaraman Ravindran, the model is expected to be deployed in hospitals by 2027-28.
