Cohere Launches Embed 5 Enterprise Embedding Models in Pro and Fast Tiers
On September 30, Cohere released its next-generation enterprise embedding models, Embed 5, in two tiers: Pro and Fast. The company claims retrieval-quality SOTA and simultaneously introduced a new enterprise retrieval evaluation method, RCP-nDCG@10, making Embed 5 the first model evaluated under (and leading) that metric.
