Alibaba's Qoder Offers Qwen3.8-Flash Free to All Users Through Sept 30

On September 23–24, Qoder, Alibaba's agentic coding platform, announced that Qwen3.8-Flash is completely free for all users through September 30, including free accounts — no paid subscription, no coupons, and no Credit consumption. Users simply download Qoder, log in, and select the model. This is one of the first large-scale free channels for Qwen3.8-Flash aimed at individual developers.

Confirmed

• The free period runs through September 30 and covers free accounts at 0 Credits (user @mhdfaran recorded consumption of 0.0x)
• New users additionally get a 14-day Pro trial with 300 Credits
• Officials say the campaign may be extended if usage stays strong
• Qoder positions itself as a "Beyond Coding" agentic platform capable of decomposing large tasks into subtasks (@mhdfaran)

Why it matters

Zero-barrier access even for free accounts significantly lowers the cost of trying Alibaba's newest model, and the Pro trial plus 300 Credits bundle is designed to pull developers' coding workflows onto the Qoder platform.
