Researchers Implement 2007 RSA-1024 Signature Forgery Attack
A UCSD team implemented a variant number field sieve that forges RSA-1024 signatures in near-SNFS time given temporary access to an unpadded signing oracle. Cryptographer Matthew Green clarified this is an implementation of a 2007 attack by Joux, Naccache and Thomé, not a factorization of RSA-1024.
