DDRop attack silently drops DDR5 writes to break confidential VMs
Security researchers disclosed DDRop, a low-cost hardware interposer that silently drops DDR5 memory writes, breaking freshness guarantees and compromising Intel TDX confidential VMs; findings will appear at ACM CCS 2026 after coordinated disclosure with Intel and AMD.
