METR to independently investigate Anthropic alignment incidents with Redwood

METR has agreed with Anthropic to independently investigate its agent incidents and model alignment properties, publishing public reports. Redwood Research staff will be subcontracted to assist, calling independent investigation key to managing misalignment risk.
