JHU Research: Composing Continual Learning Mechanisms Boosts Long-Horizon Memory
A Johns Hopkins team's ComposeCL research shows that composing multiple continual learning mechanisms raises long-horizon knowledge retention from 1.2% to 34.9% after sequentially fine-tuning on 100 QA tasks, where naive sequential fine-tuning suffers catastrophic forgetting.
