Creator Launches Fully AI-Made Series The Last Frontier at Zero Cost

Creator LudovicCreator released episode one of the fully AI-made series The Last Frontier, titled "The Courier," on September 2, with Season 1 planned for 8 weekly episodes. Rather than merely generating shots, he built the production foundation in collaboration with Agent Two and completed the whole pipeline at zero cost, demonstrating AI agents' viability for long-form narrative and continuity management.

Confirmed

• The series is The Last Frontier; the first episode is "The Courier," with 8 episodes in Season 1 released weekly starting September 2
• Workflow: generate shot footage first, then use Agent Two to build worldbuilding, visual language, character sheets, scene sheets, script, sequencing and continuity management
• Post-production uses Invideo Editor to assemble footage into an editable timeline, automating repetitive editing tasks like assembly, trimming and ordering
• The author describes the workflow as zero-cost, with Invideo Editor being free; he previously used the same pipeline with Agent Two to complete a 4-minute AI film

Why it matters

• The author argues AI filmmaking is shifting from pure footage generation to agent collaboration: users keep creative control while AI handles execution, especially automating repetitive timeline editing
• A single person can now produce a serialized series that traditionally required a team, showing AI agents' feasibility for long-form narrative and continuity management
