Every's Fantasy Football League Goes Bring-Your-Own-Agent

On September 1, tech blogger Dan Shipper (@danshipper) shared that his Every office ran a fantasy football league under "Bring Your Own Agent" (BYOA) rules: each participant brought their own AI agent to assist with drafting and decisions. The format shows AI agents extending from work scenarios into everyday entertainment and decision support.

Confirmed

• The Every office fantasy football league adopted BYOA rules, with participants each bringing their own AI agent.
• Dan Shipper shared a demo link of a current project showing how agents can participate in such activities on one's behalf.
• He also noted AI is helping American football, a distinctly American cultural pastime, cross cultural boundaries.

Why it matters

• BYOA is a new coinage following BYOD: employees bringing their own AI agents into collaboration and even entertainment could become a normal way teams operate.
• Fantasy sports drafts are information-dense decision tasks, making them a lightweight testing ground for agents' decision-support capabilities.
