Developers Bring NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural Rendering into ComfyUI

In early September, multiple developers released experimental open-source projects integrating NVIDIA DLSS 5 denoising, super resolution, and neural rendering into ComfyUI's node system, letting local AI image and video workflows call GPU-side neural rendering acceleration directly. @OvenGloomy introduced ComfyUI-DLSS5-Enhancer, which integrates DLSS 5 neural rendering to enhance skin, hair, and detail in videos or images by reconstructing material response; the developer notes it is not a face-restoration tool. It supports RTX 40/50 series and offers batch image and streaming video file nodes.
@TotalCreations covered HECer/ComfyUI-DLSS5, an experimental Windows open-source node pack that feeds image and video batches into NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution via VapourSynth and a D3D12 wrapper.
@Choidonhyeon and @Kind-Access1026 both relayed the ComfyUI-DLSS5-NR project, which brings DLSS 5 super resolution and denoising into generation workflows with effect screenshots; @Choidonhyeon reported stunning results in Diablo 4 tests and recommends it for low-cost upscaling of AI-generated images.
