Cohere Launches Parse 5, a Cost-Competitive Document Parsing Model

On August 27, Cohere officially launched Parse 5, a document parsing model aimed at enterprise-scale workloads, available via the Cohere API. CEO Aidan Gomez framed parsing as the main bottleneck for LLMs to leverage enterprise data, and Parse 5 aims to combine industry-lowest per-page pricing with high throughput and accuracy.
