SIMD Repairs Malformed UTF-16 Strings 9x Faster
Daniel Lemire's new paper shows SIMD instructions (ARM NEON, x64 SSE/AVX2/AVX-512) can fix malformed UTF-16 strings about 9x faster. The technique has already landed in Chromium and Node 25.
