Terence Tao Publishes Paper on Mathematics in the Age of AI

Terence Tao has posted a paper, "Mathematics in the age of AI," based on his public lecture for the 2026 ICM. Rather than debating AI capabilities, it assumes research-level AI and asks what the goals and value of mathematical research should then be.
