Prime Intellect Releases 365K Unified Agentic RL Tasks
On July 23, Prime Intellect released a massive task library for agentic reinforcement learning (RL), containing over 365,000 tasks. Designed to provide a broader public environment for training and evaluating agents, the library integrates 23 independent task sets covering three core scenarios: software engineering (SWE), terminal, and search. Among them, nearly 198,000 are SWE tasks spanning more than 20 programming languages.
Confirmed
The core highlight of this release is environmental unification. The official announcement emphasizes that all 365,000 tasks are housed within a single API and sandbox environment. This means developers no longer need to adapt their systems to disparate environments for different task sets. By enabling access to all tasks through a single API, it significantly lowers the barrier to entry and reduces engineering costs for agentic RL.
Why it matters
This library standardizes and consolidates previously fragmented agentic scenarios, providing a one-stop evaluation benchmark for researchers and developers. The unified API and sandbox environment eliminate the recurring pain points of environment configuration during model training, ultimately facilitating the rapid iteration and scalable development of automated AI agents.
