LMArena has published the latest testing data for its Frontend Code Arena and Agentic Arena. Tencent's open-weight model, Hy3, delivered an outstanding performance in the frontend code domain but ranked relatively lower in agentic testing, revealing a disparity across different capability dimensions that has caught the community's attention.
Frontend Code Arena Performance
In the Frontend Code Arena, Hy3 ranked 2nd among open-weight models and 16th on the overall leaderboard. Regarding specific vertical capabilities, the model entered the top 20 in reference-based design, game development, simulation, and content creation tools.
Agentic Arena Performance
Compared to its stellar frontend code results, Hy3's performance in the Agentic Arena was somewhat underwhelming. After undergoing over 8,000 real-world agentic session tests, Hy3 ranked 25th on the overall leaderboard. Furthermore, according to the test data, the model's scores across various sub-categories showed a rather fragmented pattern.
