Seedance 2.0 creators share prompt playbooks and one-prompt demos
On July 16–17, creators densely shared prompt templates, finished clips, and workflow notes around Seedance 2.0. What stood out was not new information about the model itself, but a practical consensus: highly specific prompting can push outputs toward convincing “real phone camera” aesthetics, while simpler prompts can still generate strong visual effects quickly.
Prompt writing patterns
Posts shared by techhalla repeatedly framed prompts around a realistic smartphone look: horizontal or vertical handheld shooting, natural shake, low-end indoor lighting, minimal post-processing, visible compression noise, and lens characteristics described as similar to an iPhone 16 Pro. In one of techhalla’s own examples, the prompt also specifies character appearance, camera traits, and a second-by-second timeline; techhalla said a selfie was first used as the reference image to help generate a more believable vlog-like result.
Use cases and workflows
SimplyAnnisa showed a fuller workflow for making a continuous music video in Higgsfield AI with Seedance 2.0. According to the post, two reference images were used to keep the character identity and outfit stable, while a single audio track and detailed camera language were used to maintain consistency across the whole piece. Other examples reposted by techhalla applied similar prompt design to virtual influencer selfie videos, real-estate marketing clips, and an Akool-made piece titled “Mary Sells the Dead.”
One-prompt experiments
Another recurring thread was the “exploding burger” test. socialwithaayan and eyishazyer both highlighted clips made with no reference image and no editing, using only a single prompt to generate an exaggerated explosion effect. eyishazyer described the result as an experimental fragment and said a longer remake would follow. Taken together, these posts reinforced a dual impression of Seedance 2.0: it can support long, highly controlled prompts for realism, but it can also deliver immediately eye-catching results from pure text alone.
