LangChain Upgrades Fleet Slack Integration for No-Code Team Agents

LangChain has announced a major upgrade to Fleet’s Slack integration, centered on putting custom agents directly into the collaboration environment teams already use. According to LangChain, the goal is to help companies deploy and use agents inside existing workflows rather than asking employees to move to a new platform.

LangChain says teams can now bring any Fleet agent into Slack with one click and deploy custom agents without writing code. These agents can be given custom identities and used directly in channels and threads. The updated integration also supports handing files off to agents and approving their action requests, with the aim of keeping relevant context inside the same collaboration space.

LangChain also shared an example from 11x. The company first deployed a single agent for bug triage, then expanded to GTM on-call alerts and product Q&A. LangChain says one reason the rollout worked well was that each agent had a clear, distinct role inside Slack.
