Nvidia Tightens Asia Buyer List Over China Chip Scrutiny

Nvidia has reportedly cut its approved buyer list in Asia by about half as scrutiny rises over chips being rerouted to China via third countries. The tighter vetting includes employee site visits to data centers, contract checks, end-user interviews, and involvement from the U.S. Commerce Department’s BIS.
