HeyGen Launches Figma-to-Video Workflow

HeyGen has launched a new workflow that converts Figma designs directly into launch videos. This feature aims to solve the longstanding issue of maintaining visual consistency when turning static designs into videos, significantly streamlining the production process for designers.

Core Workflow

According to HeyGen and various users, the workflow is straightforward: designers simply copy their Figma project link, hand it over to an agent, and invoke the `/figma` skill. The system then uses HyperFrames to transform the static mockup into a dynamic video.

Visual and Animation Fidelity

The key selling point of this workflow is its strict adherence to the original design. HeyGen emphasizes that the generated videos will meticulously preserve original design details, including exact color values, fonts, canvas structures, and frames. Furthermore, HeyGen demonstrated the underlying animation mechanism: by having Claude directly parse the Figma Motion layout, the model can automatically handle video keyframes. This means the entire animation generation process requires only a text prompt, completely eliminating the need for manual, frame-by-frame adjustments.
