Apple Explains Siri’s Low-Power Voice Trigger

Apple published a technical explainer on the Siri voice trigger system, saying “Hey Siri” detection runs on the SoC’s always-on processor rather than the main CPU. It also notes that the microphone indicator typically signals an app is actively using the mic, not just local wake-word listening.
